We traveled to Ponds forge sports center, in Sheffield for a big & well attended competition, competitors from the home nations as well as Ireland & Denmark were taking part on an excellent day’s tournament.
The club had a remarkable days fighting, with nearly all the Budokan fighters taking a medal home & some stunning performances. Gemma John had double gold along with Sion Rees’s gold. We had silver with Lauren Harris, Sophie Coombs & Jimmy Harris, we also had a 3rd with Scott Thomas & 4ths with Daniel Hewitt & Megan McGowan, Ashley Harris & Zak Greenacre were unlucky not to medal as well. What a brilliant day with the best I’ve seen some of you fighting to date. Proud of you!
